Print ArticleSPARTANBURG, SC—AFL Telecommunications announces the opening of a West coast warehouse facility for bulk fiber optic cable. The warehouse, located in Southern California, is designed to increase delivery responsiveness to AFL's distribution partners located throughout the Western United States.
"With significant manufacturing capabilities and capacity at our manufacturing location in South Carolina, we are hopeful that this step will allow for additional growth in what has been one of our fastest growing product segments," said Mike Booth, vice president - Fiber Optic Cable and Conductor Accessories, AFL Telecommunications. "We're excited about the facility and the benefits that we feel that it will bring to our customer partnerships in the West."
The facility will initially hold common configurations of indoor, and indoor/outdoor tight buffered fiber cables.
